Coaching Philosophy & process
Mind and Body. Working Together – Clear, Strong, Regulated.
Change takes more than willpower
Most people know what they should be doing. The hard part is doing it consistently.
Stress, poor sleep, difficult feelings and everyday pressures can make it harder to follow through. You may skip the gym, reach for comfort food or withdraw, even when change matters to you. We use a biopsychosocial approach. Put simply, we look at your physical health, your thoughts and feelings, and your everyday life, because each affects the others. That includes work, relationships, support and the routines you live with.
We help you understand what is getting in the way, build skills to handle difficult moments and make practical changes around you. The aim is to make healthy habits easier to keep when life gets demanding.
What we look for
Body, mind, and life. We start where you need us most.
We begin with our Regulation and Capacity Assessment. Together, we explore what is putting pressure on you and what helps you cope. That includes difficult thoughts and feelings, your physical health, sleep, work, relationships and daily responsibilities.
When the pressure you are under exceeds what you can manage, it can become harder to keep doing the things that matter to you. The assessment helps us identify that gap and agree where to start: reducing avoidable pressure, building skills and support, or both.
Body
Support your physical health. Build strength and fitness, and develop realistic habits around sleep, food and recovery.
mind
Understand what gets in your way. Learn to respond to difficult thoughts and feelings so they have less control over your choices.
life
Make change fit your circumstances. We look at your time, work, relationships and support, then agree manageable steps towards what matters to you.
